allie_meril for interhouse_fest . It was my first fest and my first time writing Andromeda/Ted! Eep! Anyway, I want to thank leigh_adams for her time and help. You’re a rock star, babe. Second, I want to say that I really really loved the prompts for this and could not resist writing for them though I think my work pales in comparison to the originals. This story is based on the poem Antilamentation by Dorianne Laux and I recommend it to everyone, ever.
forsanethaec over at deatheatercest's Drabblethon. The prompt was "I don't know how to be something you miss; I never thought we'd have a last kiss." and hopefully this isn't the hot mess I think it may be. I'm playing with a choppier style that I like reading but not sure I'm all that adept at writing. Er, hope you enjoy! Edit: With new participant banner flavor!
interhouse_fest fic but I procrastinated my way to DOom and it was not to be. This mix is a little different from my usual in a couple ways: 1) it's for a canon couple and 2) it isn't necessarily meant to tell a story (though one is in there). This is a mood mix, a little time capsule of Dromeda/Ted songs that would be playing on the radio in the early 70's when Dromeda and Ted were just graduating and getting married. All songs made the British Top 100 before 1973. (Yeah, I'm a freak.) I did individual track downloads for this one since there's bound to be overlap with everyone's existing music library.
sortinghatdrabs with the prompt 'Fall'. It's not my favorite thing I've ever written but it took second place so it can't be too bad, right?
sortinghatdrabs that I completely forgot to post after the fact. I was pretty nervous about this one because I changed my structure somewhat but I'm fairly pleased with the result. :D Plus it took second place. Not too shabby.

a_shadow_there for hp_wishes Summer Activity. This is my first foray into writing femmeslash but the prompt (fairytales) was too good for my geeky folklore-loving self to ignore. I hope she likes it! Its just a short little thing. The poem excerpts are from The Stolen Child by Yeats. luvscharlie for the hp_wishes Summer Activity that is going on right now. She requested Percy/Penny with the prompt "Girls will make passes at a boy who wears glasses". I hope she likes it!sortinghatdrabs. I tied with leigh_adams, who is avoiding our cage match to determine a proper winner.

Prompts were tequila and ass-kicking. Another one that I'm 'meh' about but I think the concept has potential. May revisit this idea later.
